Jess Poe is a Portland-based experimental filmmaker, DP and editor.

Jess’s short films and music videos weave together abstract, intimate moments into collage-like stories, distinct in their surreal nature.

Jess and Wendy Anderson co-directed “Into the Blue,” a dreamy narrative brought to life by sensory visuals, a guiding sestina written by Lou Turner, and original compositions by Ziona Riley and Rowen Merrill. The film highlights the parallels between the natural environment, womanhood, and the journey of finding one's place.

Jess is currently writing a feature film exploring themes of idealism, loss, dreams, and the strength of human connection.
